Yep, the one Máté also went to. Held at the Royal Palace of Holyrood, which I’ve found holds the four circles of Posh.
So you arrive at the event, and see this:
That’s the first car park. These are just visitor’s rides.
So you continue, and come across:
That’s the free car park for pre 1975 cars. OK, then.
Let’s go one circle deeper, but before we enter the first proper gate of Posh, there’s this:
Nice.
Now we enter the forecourt:
That’s got to be the Concours, right? (yes, that is a genuine pre war Kompressor Mercedes, the Ferrari is one of the very first, and that Lancia Aurelia needs to be in my parking spot. Now.)
But no: these are just the Highland Tour participants.
For the proper Concours, we need a change of pace:
And real, proper Posh:
Not that everything is shiny:
This Lorraine - Dietrich has been racing, setting records, being tinkered with and generally making a ton of noise from its 17 litre engine since 1912.
Early Bugatti Brescia:
It’s so tiny , the seats are staggered. The want is unbearable, quite possibly because of it. Look:
More posh:
Mid engined, with louvres over the rear “window”. In 1963!
It’s an Allemano ATS 2500 GT. No, me neither.
And so it came to the end, with the Grand Depart:
Scotland’s own Arrol-Johnston. A ‘dogcart’ that’s more than a century old:
This being the Concours of Elegance, you get stuff like this:
Yes, that is THE legendary “Blue Train” Bentley stuck in a suburban traffic jam.

Even better, it was one of the two days in the year when it didn't rain in Scotland!

Yep, we’d better explain to the natives what that blue stuff with the yellow circle in it is ;-)

Excellent work! I wish I could have been there.
